The Job:

This position involves both administrative functions and a wide variety of assignments and tasks as needed by the Director of Marketing, President and/or CEO. Examples of daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Excellent organization, writing, proofing & grammar skills needed
  • Creative aptitude to come up with ideas and designs with minimal direction and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work with high-level executives within the company
  • Experience with direct mail, email blasts and fax blasts. This includes working with mailing services, USPS, etc.
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • Ability to coordinate advertising schedules, meeting various deadlines
  • Ability to organize and coordinate all aspects of tradeshows and traveling Foundation College programs 
  • Experience with SalesLogix database systems a plus
  • Ability to prepare files correctly for a printing agencies
  • Ability to interview printers, spec out jobs for quotation, negotiate price and deal directly with all administrative issues
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Various Administrative Duties
  • Sensitivity to budget constraints
  • Processing all incoming leads and sending out fulfillment materials
  • Preparing small targeted mailings (stuffing, sealing, stamping, taking to post office)
  • Data Entry / Database maintenance
  • Taking monthly inventory of marketing supplies
  • Act as liaison between inside sales and marketing
  • Ordering supplies
  • Assistance with preparing supplies for tradeshows and events
  • Internet research
  • Blogsite data entry
  • Training on design work
  • Various other administrative projects, as needed

The Requirements:

  • 2 or 4 year degree in marketing, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Motivated, organized and energetic
  • SalesLogix contact management system knowledge a plus, but not necessary
